The theme this Mental Music Monday is inspired by none other than Bon Jovi…

How many times have you thought (its now or never…)?  That was kind of the motivation behind getting this site, my book and myself going.  I am not going to live forever and I better get going doing what I want with this life I have. I want to sell books, help people cope with life stresses, write and manage this website and have fun with my kids and family.

I think it is hard to find a balance between “live like there is no tomorrow” and living with the “that could never happen to me” mentality.   I must admit there are more times recently that I have thought about how short life is and how many of the everyday stresses are not really that important in the “big picture”.  At the end of the day each and every one of our “big pictures” are very similar.   Being able to remove yourself for a moment and recognize your “big picture” is a very important concept.

I work hard at keeping perspective on things even in the trenches of childhood cancer.  Whatever your “stresses” are keep working on overcoming and dealing with them in a productive way.

THIS IS YOUR LIFE…LIVE IT and have a great Monday~

Just wanted to say my son was diagnosed in 1987 at age 6 with ALL. The teachers he has had throughout the years will always comment on how the students in his class were the most compassionate and caring children they ever taught because they shared Tim’s life during this very difficult time.

You are doing a great job and you are in my prayers.

Love the song…love Bon Jovi…and love the reminder to take a moment to look at the BIG picture. I think that is something we all much too often forget to do.
